Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress, best known for Missandei in HBO's dramatic fantasies "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel was born and brought up in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's seaside resort was always interested in acting. Her mother quickly took notice that she was a performer, and at the age of Nathalie was just three years old, parents signed her up for the singing, dancing and acting classes. Emmanuel was an accomplished performer, and she developed quickly. By the end in the 1990s, she was playing an infant Nala in "The The Lion King" the West End musical that has been acclaimed. Emmanuel tried out for roles on film and television when she was a teenager. She got her first big break in 2007 when she began playing Sasha Valentine on the British soap-opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4 from 1995 to ). Emmanuel played the role of Sasha Valentine for four years before leaving Hollyoaks by the year 2010. Emmanuel received her second break just three years later as she was chosen in the role of Missandei on HBO's Game of Thrones. She as Daenerys's interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke).
